SUMMER ROCK CAMP

What better way to unite the musicians than the Summer of Rock Camp? The camp is open to ages 9 through 15 who play guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, or vocals at any ability level, beginner through advanced. The program consists of a one, two, or three immersive weeks of musical expression. Musicians will be united by ability, age, and genre preference. Each group, guided by our staff of professional musicians, will become a band. They will compose an original song and choose 4-5 cover tunes to perform at a recorded concert on the evening of the last day of the session.

X-TREME SUMMER OF ROCK

X-Treme Summer of Rock is open to ages 14 through 18 who play guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, or vocals at advanced levels. The program consists of one intensive week of music and innovation. Musicians will be grouped by ability and genre preference. Each group, guided by two professional musicians, will create a band name, and then design flyers, posters, and a disruptive CD cover. They will compose 2-4 original songs to perform at a recorded concert on the evening of the last day of the session. The band will also be recording their original songs in Lenox Sounds, a professional recording studio used by renowned talent.

Due to their advanced levels, the final CD will be sold at both Giulano’s stores and other retailers in the area. All proceeds with go to the MUSIC HAPPENS HERE SCHOLARSHIP.
