In 1975, Giuliano opened his own business in downtown White Plains, NY as Giuliano’s Guitar Shop, after being a Forman for Gretsch Guitars in Brooklyn 1967-1972.   His son Bobby apprenticed for him from an early age.  Bobby also apprenticed with Carlo Greco for many years, who was a well known guitar technician and luthier on 48th Street, Manhattan.  The Father and son duo’s clients are a who’s who of well-known artists including Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter, BB King, Buddy Guy, Nile Rodgers, Leslie West, George’s Benson & Harrison, 80’s rockers Peter Frampton, Ace Frehley and Joe Walsh. Full Set up

(Ultimate sound, playability, sustain and intonation) 

Includes measuring and precision fret leveling, using custom made diamond files and 5 courses of fine sandpapers. Our crowning method is so precise that it will make your intonation perfect and sustain longer. This will make the strings sit perfectly on the center of the fret, not on the edge which is caused by flat and worn frets.  Finishing with a complete high gloss buff on our arbor buffer.  

The end result is your guitar will play more continuously (sustain) and will have a more balanced tone and your intonation will be perfect across the board. 

Additional $100.00 plus Standard Set Up

Spot Level Set up 

(Lowered action while eliminating any buzz)  

Filing targeted areas on the neck which have uneven frets, causing less resonance due to buzzing. Frets are then crowned and polished

-We go through series of tests and do a full inspection of your instrument prior to any set up

-Tighten tuning machines and all hardware

-We go through a series of tests again 

-Stretch strings and fine tune intonation

All guitars/Basses will be setup and intonated to its sweet spot.
